You would be surprised at how many checks we receive each month where we haven't the foggiest idea of who is sending the money and what it is in payment of. To assure proper credit, please make sure you pay by mail and include the following information on your check:
1. Who you are
2. The street address of the building in which you reside
3. Your apartment number
4. Exactly what it is you are paying; i.e., late charge, security deposit, rent, etc.

Please note: Do not hand your check to any of the people who are associated with our firm. All payments must be made by mail or at the office. Remember, your rent is due by the first of the month. There is a five day grace period. If we receive your rent any later, you will automatically be charged a late fee of $25.00. Unless a late fee accompanies your rent payment, the computer stores this information and at the termination of your lease, these fees are collected from your security deposit. Unfortunately, the computer never forgets.
Bad Check Fee - In the event your check is returned for any reason, you will automatically be charged a $25.00 fee. Again, this information is stored on the computer which never forgets.
